Made with Love …Bake Sale and Market

The Shared Ministry team is planning a Made with Love …Bake Sale and Market for Sunday, February 14th from 9 a.m. -12:00 noon. We are asking people to bring baked goods, canned goods, preserves, candy, cakes, cookies, bread – whatever your specialty and whatever you’d like to share! The coffee that day will be in the fellowship hall and will be a celebration of love we share as a family at First Lutheran. There will be Caribou coffee and a flavored coffee bar to add to the festivities. If you’d like to contribute to the sale and market, please bring your items to the church on Saturday, February 13th between noon and 3:00 p.m. We’re looking forward to a fun day celebrating LOVE! Spaghetti Dinner

Fall Proof Classes

Mike Kjelland, Fallproof Instructor, with the assistance of the Health & Fitness students from ATCC, plans to again offer balance/fall prevention classes here at FLC this winter/spring. Classes will begin on Tuesday, February 9th and continue through Thursday, May 5th. “Moving for Better Balance”, a class for beginners that will include Tai Chi, balance and strength exercises, will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:45-2:00pm. Class size is limited to 12 participants. “Fallproof” is an advanced class for anyone who has preciously participated in one of Mike’s classes. They will meet on Tuesdays from 2:15-3:30pm. Relay for life Fish Fry

The 12th Annual FISH FRY and SILENT AUCTION will take place on Friday, March 4th at the Holiday Inn from 5:00-9:00pm. Advance ticket sales only. Tickets are $12 and will be available at the Welcome Center and the church office after February 1st. (Silent auction items will be accepted through February 22nd.)
