We offer First Communion instruction for 5th graders and their parents, and other children and parents who feel ready to receive this Sacrament.  Younger children who come forward prior to this receive a blessing from the communion server.

First Communion instruction happens in a retreat setting and incorporates a number of experiences that assist all participants in a fuller understanding of Holy communion.  The next First Communion event will be held at Luther Crest Bible Camp in March 2011 and will culminate with First Communion at the Maundy Thursday worship service in April.
