| There are a lot of opportunities for kids at First Lutheran Church! We have programming for children 3 years old through 6th grade!
Kingdom Kids is the name of our Sunday School Program at First Lutheran Church. Children who are 3 years old through 6th grade by September 1st of the year they are enrolled are welcome to Kingdom Kids. We have two sessions of Kingdom Kids that take place during the 8:30 am Worship Service and the 9:45 am Worship Service on Sunday Mornings during the months of September through May. Learn More
KICK
KICK (Kids In Christ’s Kingdom ) is the name of our Wednesday after school program at First Lutheran Church. Children in 3rd through 6th grade by Sepetember 1st of the year they are enrolled are welcome to attend KICK. KICK takes place from 3:30 pm to 4:40 pm followed by Youth Choir. Learn More
Children age 3 by September 1st of the previous year through 5, not yet in kindergarten are invited to attend a Preschool week of Vacation Bible School. Children in Kindergarten through Sixth grade of the previous year are invited to attend an Elementary week of Vacation Bible School. Vacation Bible School (VBS) is usually held the first two weeks after school is out in June. Learn More
First Communion Celebration
Attendance by 5th grade students and their families is expected. Any others interested in receiving their First Holy Communion may contact Jen Jabas. A retreat is held at Luther Crest Bible Camp each year which includes communion instruction, baking of communion bread, and the design of their goblet to be used when receiving First Communion. A family meal is also served during the event. All students who have prepared for their First Communion will commune on Maundy Thursday. |
