Summer Stretch First Lutheran has joined forces with Shalom Lutheran, Bethesda Lutheran, Calvary Lutheran and St. Mary’s Catholic Churches to form a summer youth program. The program is called Summer Stretch and it is for students in 7th-9th grade. We came together each Wednesday throughout June and July to do service projects around town in the morning, and then fellowship events in the afternoon. It’s also an opportunity for our high school youth to mentor small groups, and to lead by example, while getting training and excellent ministry experience.
